DOUGLAS D. G. STEL

Born in 1954, Doug obtained his B.A. at McGill University and his law degree at Queens University in Kingston. Doug was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981 and has been practising law in Ottawa since that time.

Doug practises in the area of general litigation assisting clients with claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability, insurance, employment and contract disputes. Doug also prepares wills and powers of attorney and can assist you with estate matters.

Doug has a certificate from Windsor University in mediation and from the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario Inc. in arbitration and supports the use of these modalities in appropriate situations as an alternative to formal court proceedings. He is also available to act as a mediator or arbitrator.
